An Uncommon and Exceptionally Delicious Set of Foods

In New Orleans, it is not unusual for men to concoct fabulous dishes in the kitchen. I'm no culinary wizard but I've experimented with truffle oil or butter as a substitute for cooking oil in my roux which is the foundation for seafood gumbo. The result is a classic dish with a new flavor that enhances and compliments the shrimp, oysters and lump crabmeat. I also use the oil as a garnish on baked or grilled catfish, shrimp or crawfish étouffée. I highly recommend this product!!

Truffles

The Truffle Lover's Collection made a great gift. All of the items tasted delicious. Although they were in small portions, it was a great value for truffle-containing products. I would use Blackstar Gourmet in the future for gifts!
